Hi, I’m Jake.

I’m a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based photographer specializing in architectural and landscape photography. On the architectural side, I collaborate with architects, designers, and builders to create compelling portfolio imagery that highlights the craft and intention behind their work. My landscape photography takes me across the world in search of mood, weather, and light – capturing the fleeting moments that make locations come alive. Whether framed by walls or horizons, my work explores the same idea – how light and form shape the way we see the world.

On a Personal Note…

I live just outside Grand Rapids with my wife, Samantha, and our two amazing daughters, who remind me daily to see the world with fresh eyes. Family is the heart of my world and I love nothing more than creating fun and unique memories with them. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me on a hiking trail, watching a good movie, playing sports, or planning our next family adventure.
